One time we all had these thoughts when watching the terrible programm in TV. Now you’ll get the chance.

TVGiant is a remake of the old but still very good game MadTV and so the games are similar to each other.

In the game there are several players; it is goal to establish the richest and most powerfull TV- station. You will need commercial spots to earn money and movies, shows and news to attract your audience. But your competitors are making your life as hard as possible. If you dont keep an eye on them, you’ll soon have no good movies, no spactators, no money, no future!

In contrast to MadTV in TVGiant the audience is dividided in target groups with prefered times when to watch TV and individuell demands to TV program.

So you have to decide whats the better choice for a monday morning 11 o’clock show: “Manager today” or “Unemployed and having fun!”?

It would be nice, but your spactators dont want to see only commercials, so you have to find the right movie for your spots. Most actionfans arent’t very interested in washing powder. So maybe Oprah would be the better choice for selling this.

Of cause nobody wants to see the same things again and again, so you will have to build up a big archive with movies, or you could invest in your own production- studios and produce your own movies and shows. But how to get the money for this?

Of cause your spactators sometimes need a break to go to the toilet, so some commercial breaks could help, but if you believe, that these are the root of unlimited money, you are wrong.

Your commercial partners don’t have anything to give away and if you don’t reach the needed audience rating, you’ll have to pay a penalty instead of getting your fat bonus.

For further increasing of your audience rating you’ll have to get news, but nobody is interested in what happend 5 minutes ago, you need the most up to date news and these are only provided by the fastest newsagencys. No need to say, that these are the most expensive, too... Life of a broadcaster isn’t that easy, is it?!?

So what, Mr. Broadcaster, can you do this?!?
